Opt-in popups are one of the most effective ways to increase your email list and grow your business. In this post, I'll show you how to create your own opt-in popup in under five minutes.

Go to Popups & Forms → Templates.

Once you find the template you like, just hover on it and hit ‘Use template’ to open it in the drag-and-drop editor.

Understand the "Left," "Center," and "Right" sections of the editor.

At first glance, it may be a little complicated, but it's actually very intuitive. When you switch to the "Layer" tab, it shows all the elements on the center Canvas. In the example, it's a "Left-right" popup as 2 columns in the section (also marked as a green and yellow block). The "Close" button on the top-right is called "FloatBox" in the Layer and the sticky "Get 10% OFF" block is called "StickyTab."

On the right side of the editor, it is the configuration panel of the selected element. Try to click every element from the Canvas or the Layer to see how it changes accordingly.

How to cleanly remove legacy third-party Pixels code

After installing Zalify Pixels, you need to completely delete the Pixels code left over from other places in the Shopify store to prevent events from being captured repeatedly. Here's a list of all the possible legacy Pixels code you need to check:

Check Online Store Preferences

From your Shopify admin, click Sales Channels > Online Store.
Find Preferences in the left navigation.
In the Facebook section, delete the pixel ID and save.

Check Facebook App

From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps & sales channels.
From the Apps & Sales Channels page, tap Facebook & Instagram.
Click Open Sales Channel.
Click Settings.
In the Data Sharing Settings section, click Disconnect to delete your current pixel.

||| Update January 20, 2023: If you are still seeing the "Remove Third-Party Code" prompt banner in Zalify after disconnecting Pixel, you will need to find and uninstall the Facebook & Instagram sales channel in your Shopify admin backend under Settings -> Apps and Sales Channels. Make sure the prompt banner is no longer visible in the Zalify backend before reinstalling and configuring.

When using Shopify Payments as your payment platform, the theme will automatically fetch the activated payment methods and render them in the footer section.

|| You can turn off this feature in the footer section's configuration if not necessary. However, in most cases, we still recommend using Shopify Payments.

However, if you've integrated a third-party payment platform, automatic rendering will not be effective or may cause errors. Fortunately, you can still manually configure the payment methods.

How to Configure

Go to your desired Zalify theme template in the Shopify admin.
In the edit mode, go to the template settings section and find payment methods.
Click the here link below the input box. In the page that opens, you'll see many files ending in .svg. The filename before .svg corresponds to a payment platform, like alipay, american_express, etc.
Return to payment methods, and fill in the code in the input box according to the following format, for example:
